During the 7 months, from 28th Jan. 1983 to 3rd Sep. 1983 a survey was made of 88 mothers, visiting the well-baby clinic of St. John of God clinic, Kwangju for their baby¢¥s vaccination, regarding the feeding and weaning for the accompanied baby, and the following result were obtained.
1. 47% of total subjects practise breast feeding for their infants, 32% artificial feeding, 19% mixed feeding.
2. Between feeding type and the mothers¢¥ education level, there was no significant relationship. (X^(2) =11.542, P > 0.05)
3. Between feeding type and father¢¥s education level, there was no significant relationship. (X^(2)=3.383, P>0.05)
4. Between father¢¥s occupation and feeding type, there was significant relationship. (X^(2) =42.477, P > 0. 0005)
5. Between hospital delivery and feeding type, there was no significant relationship. (X^(2) =.7.738, P > 0.05)
6. Between hospital delivery and colostrum feeding, there was no significant relationship. (X^(2)= 2.189, P > 0.05)
